I was born in 1968 near Cologne and emigrated to Switzerland with my family as a child.
After graduating from high school, I studied social pedagogy in Berlin and later, when I was in my mid-thirties, I did adult education again with a special focus on the new findings of brain research.
I’ve always been interested in how cognitive and emotional processes work and I find the increase in knowledge over the last few decades simply fascinating.
I have worked as an experiential educator, cleaning lady, family helper, saleswoman, lecturer and in refugee work, and was also intensively involved in the uncovering and processing of institutionalized sexual violence for several years. From 2015 on I did the three-year training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.

My childhood in the mountains anchored in me a love for wild nature and the certainty of the sacredness of creation. For me connectedness means to experience myself as an integral part of this creation.
